The May
3rd GARREFIT Fundraiser was a roaring success!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE that pitched in to
help out. From the amazing food contributions, incredible raffle
and silent auction donations, to the fabulous music played by thirteen
bands who ALL stayed on track with the extremely tight schedule...
The VOLUNTEERS
that looked after sound, lights, stage management, kitchen and dinner
buffet, silent auction, raffle tables, golf putting game and the
now famous CARL GOODMAN KISSING BOOTH, we could not have done this
without your dedication and hard work.
Thank you
to all the people that purchased tickets whether you were able to
attend or not.. every penny counted.
Collectively
we raised $13,250.00!!!
And believe me, this will go a long way in helping Garret concentrate
on healing rather than stressing about finances.
We are still
gratefully accepting donations and the website will remain up and
running indefinitely.
Gene Gouthro of Athlone Studios recorded the evenings performances
and we'll be pressing a compilation CD and proceeds will go to Garret.
